How to reach Tulip Garden?
The Indira Gandhi Tulip Garden can be accessed in a variety of ways. The most convenient way to get there is by air, as the Sheikh UI-Alam International Airport in Srinagar is near the garden and has regular flights from many cities.
Alternatively, one can take a train to Jammu Tawi or Udhampur railway station and then take a private taxi or bus to the garden. Finally, one can travel by road from cities like Jammu, Delhi, or Chandigarh by hiring a JKSRTC bus.
Timings, the best time, and entry details
The Tulip Garden in Srinagar will start admitting the public beginning on March 20 of 2023 and continues till the end of April. Farooq Ahmad Rather, the director of the Floriculture Department, made the announcement.
The garden will be available for entry from 7 am to 7:30 pm every day with an adult fee of Rs.50 and a child fee of Rs.25. Most visitors usually come between 1 pm and 6 pm.
Bollywood has also shown its love for the garden, with Salman Khan having filmed Bajrangi Bhaijan in the area, and John Abraham’s RAW and Abhishek Bachan’s Manmarziyaan also have been filmed in the valley.
