Volunteering
As a key to leadership roles, volunteering is a proven activity that promotes the skill. Talk to your students about the various volunteering roles available in a school environment. Interested kids can register and volunteer to participate in activities, such as assistance to the poor, social service, community service, etc.
Teachers must ensure that volunteering opportunities allow students to lead some part of the work or other, and every child is engaged in an activity of responsibility.
Planning strategies

When students listen, observe and write down, they are not only paying attention to the teacher but also to their friends to check whether everyone else is at the same pace. Some students would miss out, and look up to others for missed words and sentences. They might also adapt differently and simply leave out the missed parts to write down later.
Teachers establish a healthy competitive environment in the classroom where students can constantly feel accomplished for keeping up with the teacher. This immediate incentive allows them to keep going and writing accurately faster. Bring together groups of compatible yet differently skilled students and allow them to coordinate. Students learn to be comfortable with differences in opinions and ideas and still act as leaders by being in Group activities.
